Hudson Takes Tennis Title
North Oconee High School students fare well at Buford City Jr. Summer Championships.

rising junior Amber Hudson won the girls 18 and under division of the Buford City Jr. Summer Championships on June 21-22. After a first-round bye, the top seed downed Kelley Cohron of Buford 6-3, 6-2, and in the finals, Hudson beat the #2 seed Rebecca Norton of Snellville 6-1, 6-1.
On the boys’ side, fellow Titan Seth Taylor made it to the 18 and under finals but fell in three sets to Andy Wang of Alpharetta 2-6, 7-6, 4-6.
