Westminster Christian Academy Seniors Preparing for Annual Mission Trip to Jamaica

The trip in March will be the third for the school.

A dozen seniors from Westminster Christian Academy are preparing to head to Jamaica next month for a mission trip.

According to the school's website, it's the third year in a row WCA has participated in the week-long program coordinated by former Westminster parent Pastor Hugo Bryan-Porter and Pastor Fitzroy Kerr, lead pastor of Praise Deliverance Ministries in Kingston, Jamaica.

The trip will "involve ministering to several children’s orphanages, elderly homes, churches, a local boys’ home, a school for the deaf, and street ministries," the website states.

The news blog quoted Upper School Principal Judy Childs as saying, “This is a culminating opportunity for students to be the hands and feet of God."

As the students and chaperones ready to embark on the journey March 7, WCA asks for community support in the form of financial contributions and prayers. Contact organizer kklayman@wcalions.org. for more information about ways to contribute.
