Two Watkinsville Students Selected as Yarbrough-Grady Interns

Undergrads will be working with Grady leadership and a leading public relations and marketing agency, Jackson Spalding.

Two Watkinsville students were recently selected as Yarbrough-Grady interns by the Grady College at the University of Georgia. Paula Bryant and Coral Frederick will be working with Grady leadership and a leading public relations and marketing agency, Jackson Spalding, during fall semester 2012.

While working at Jackson Spalding's Athens office the interns will receive mentorship from industry professions while fine-tuning their skills. The interns will be working in a learning lab environment.

“The opportunity to work at an established communications firm provides our students with a real world translation of the disciplines being taught every day in the classroom,” stated Grady College Dean Cully Clark in a press release. “We owe a lot of thanks to Dick Yarbrough for partnering with us on this opportunity. He understands how relevant work experience can enhance the value of an education here.”
