A burn ban, high school tennis tournaments, spring band concert, and Women in Business luncheon are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.

Weather: Partly cloudy skies and light and variable winds are in today's Weather Channel forecast.  High temperatures will approach 90 degrees with overnight lows in the mid 60s.

Top things to know:

  • A for the purposes of compliance with the Federal Clean Air Regulations goes into effect today and will be in place through Sept. 30. 
  • Best of luck to the and Oconee County High School tennis teams as they play in round two of the state AA and AAA tournaments today. The Lady Titans and Titans host Blessed Trinity beginning at 4 p.m.  The Lady Warriors take on Woodward at home starting at 3:30 p.m. followed by the boys match against North Springs. 
  • 's spring band concert takes place at 7 p.m. at North Oconee High School.
