New Members Inducted into National Honor Society at Oconee County High School

More than just an honor roll, NHS and NJHS serve to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character (and Citizenship for NJHS).

Officials at Oconee County High School have announced that several students are now members of the school's chapter of the National Honor Society.

The National Honor Society seeks to recognize students who excel in scholarship, leadership, service and character.

New members include:

Andres Bacallao, Alyssa Beckstead, Lane Benton, Molly Carney, Britt Edelen, Isabel Evelyn, Erica Gattiker, Laura Huff, Jana Kelnhofer, Jackson Keene, Jacob LeFeuvre, Zachary Miner, Adam Monroe, Jennifer Murtha, Lekeanju Nzengung, Shanwei Shoemaker, Gursimran N. Udhwani. Karena Washington and Alexander Waters.
