Armistead Named New Headmaster of Westminster Christian Academy

James Armistead will begin his duties as head of school on July 1, 2012.

has announced the hire of James Armistead as the new head of school.

According to a news release on the school's website, "Armistead was carefully and prayerfully selected out of dozens of candidates from a nationwide search."

His experience includes a tenure as the headmaster of Trinity Christian Academy in Lexington, Kentucky. During his career that expands decades, he has also worked as a principal, teacher and high school registrar. Read more about Armistead on the school's website.

“There is nothing more critical to the future, than the proper upbringing and educating of our children, and the Christian School is providentially positioned to be the key element in helping parents with that task,” Armistead said in the news release. “My goal is to marshal my efforts and those of the Lord’s people to provide for the building of His kingdom by how we nurture and equip students for lives of service to Him.”

Armistead is scheduled to speak at the Parents’ Association meeting on April 10.
