Register by July 2 to Vote in the July 31 Primary Elections

Stop by the Oconee County Board of Elections and Registration or fill out an online voter registration form.

If you want to cast a ballot in the July 31 primaries, you must be registered to vote by July 2, 2012, a deadline set by the Georgia Secretary of State's Office.

In order to register, visit the Oconee County Board of Elections Office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.Β  It's located next to the courthouse. An application may also be filled out online.

Early voting will begin on July 9 and run through July 27, with one day of Saturday voting scheduled for July 21.

Polls will be open on the day of the primary elections, Tuesday, July 31, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
