Officers responded to several domestic situations and investigated a traffic accident without injuries.

In his weekly press release, Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the incidents that police responded to during the week ending Feb. 27.

  • On Feb. 21, police arrested a resident of Williamsburg Place and charged him with driving on a suspended drivers license, O'Dillon said.Β 
  • Police investigated a minor traffic accident at South Main Street near the intersection of Highway 15 on Feb. 25. No one was injured.Β  One driver was charged with improper backing, O'Dillon reported.
  • During the course of the week, officers responded to domestic situations that were all resolved on Taylors Drive, Hight Drive, and at the Luxury Inn, O'Dillon said.

Watkinsville police responded to a total of 31 calls within city limits between Monday, Feb. 21Β  and Sunday, Feb. 27, O'Dillon said.
