Watkinsville PD Blotter
The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville police department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
In his weekly news release, Chief Lee O'Dillon recapped some of the incidents that police responded to during the week ending July 10.
- On the morning of July 5, officers investigated a car accident involving a parked vehicle on Stone Shoals Terrace. No one was injured.
- Police investigated a two-car accident on School Street at First Street on July 9 around 8:30 a.m. There were no injuries and only minor damage to the vehicles.
- Willie Edward Williams, 53, of Augusta, was arrested and charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, and open container on July 9.
Police responded to a total of 31 calls within city limits between Monday, July 4 and Sunday, July 10.
