Thief Makes off with Four Wheeler and Pressure Washer

The theft occurred at a Salem Road residence overnight last Friday to Saturday. Thefts on Jessica Way and Willow Ridge are also under investigation.

He heard a strange noise outside overnight last Friday to Saturday, but a resident of the 1300 block of Salem Road told Oconee County County Sheriff's deputies he didn't see anyone.

According to an incident report, the man the next morning realized a blue Yamaha four wheeler and an orange pressure washer had been taken from his yard.

The investigation is ongoing.

Investigators are also working on the following cases:

  • A chainsaw and chains, socket set, and a knife sharpener are missing from a garage on Jessica Way. The theft occurred sometime between Nov 27 and Dec. 14.
  • A resident of Willow Ridge told deputies last week she realized she's missing flatware pieces from her silver antique collection. Twelve dinner forks and twelve salad forks are unaccounted for, she said. The victim last used the silverware in early May of this year at an event at her residence.
