Suspects Identified As Juveniles in Criminal Trespass Case

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office says suspects who may have been involved in a criminal trespass incident at a Belfair subdivision residence this week have been identified as juveniles.

Friday afternoon the Oconee County Sheriff's Office used social media to solicit the public's help in identifying a couple of suspects who may have been associated with a criminal trespass case.

The incident occurred at a residence in the Belfair subdivision earlier this week, authorities reported.

Chief Deputy Lee Weems said the four suspects have been identified as juveniles and are making restitution to the homeowner.Β  No charges have been filed at this time.

Photos of the alleged suspects were removed from both Oconee Patch and the Sheriff's office Facebook page after it was discovered that juveniles were involved.
