More Attempts at Shoplifting on Epps Bridge Parkway

On December 18 at 4:35pm, Oconee County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Walmart. There they found Cynthia Patton, 48, of Athens, in custody for trying to leave the store without paying for $152 worth of household wares without paying for them. She was charged with shoplifting and taken to the Oconee County Jail.
On December 14, Oconee County Sheriff's Deputies went to Lowe's on Epps Bridge Parkway where they found Harley Dean Davis, 52, of Athens in custody for alleged shoplifting. He was accused of having taken a white mushroom light fixture, priced at $13. He was charged with misdemeanor shoplifting and taken to the Oconee County Jail.
