Lawnmower Fire Spreads to Nearby Woods
A summary of calls Oconee County Fire Rescue answered during the week ending on March 10, 2013.
Oconee County firefighters were called to a residence in the 5500 block of Atlanta Highway on Saturday around 5:30 p.m. where a lawnmower had caught on fire.
According to Fire Chief Bruce Thaxton, a small area of woods also burned. The cause of fire is unknown, he said.
