Break-in Reported at Oconee Baptist Church of Bishop
A window was busted in the sanctuary.
A burglar reportedly broke into the sanctuary of Oconee Baptist Church of Bishop on Macon Highway last week by smashing a window.
The pastor on May 28 gave an Oconee County Sheriff's deputy a tour of the church and pointed out areas where the suspect may have entered.
Nothing was actually taken, the deputy wrote in the incident report, but items had been moved and placed at the back door as if they were being prepared to be removed.
