Bogart Man Charged with Seven Counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children

An Oconee County deputy assisted the GBI by transporting the suspect to jail on Oct. 8. An arrest isn't a conviction.

A 43-year-old Bogart man was booked into the Oconee County Jail Tuesday afternoon after he was served with GBI arrest warrants.

According to a sheriff's incident report, an Oconee County deputy accompanied a GBI special agent to a business in Clarke County where Glenn Roy Brewer was taken into custody.

Jail records show that Brewer has been charged with seven counts of sexual exploitation of children related to the possession or control of material depicting a minor in sexually explicit conduct.

Patch has reached out to the GBI about the arrest and will update when additional information becomes available.
