Watkinsville Police Investigate Attempted Break-in

The following information was supplied by the Watkinsville, Ga. police department.

A Harden Hill Road resident returned home from work last Wednesday, May 1, to find that someone had broken a window on the garage door.

According to Watkinsville Police Chief Lee O'Dillon, the intruder may have attempted to reach inside and unlock the door but it was secured with a double cylinder dead bolt lock.

The burglar didn't get inside and nothing outside seemed to be missing, he said.
