Agitated Statham Man Arrested For Allegedly Having Drugs

An arrest isn't the same as a conviction.

A Statham man was arrested at the 2300 block of Atlanta Highway after a dispute with his neighbors. 

Christopher Michael Patrick, 38, faces three charges: disorderly conduct, violation of Georgia Controlled Substance Act by possession of methamphetamine, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.

Patrick appeared agitated and high strung, according to authorities. When asked to submit a pat down to check for weapons, Patrick struggle and resisted. During the struggle, a glass smoking pipe and a small quantity of methamphetamine were discovered.

An investigation is ongoing.
