Dana Wildsmith will be signing copies of her newest book, a collection of poems, Christmas in Bethlehem at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation's Holiday Artists' Shoppe on December 21, 1pm till 3pm. Dana will be reading poems from her collection starting at 2pm. As an added treat, musician Larry Germain will play prior to the reading and will accompany Dana as she wings several songs as part of the reading.
Dana Wildsmith says of Christmas in Bethlehem, "My husband and I have been creating Christmas cards each year with a photo of our home in Bethlehem. Grace Farm has inspired all the poetry, in sonnet form, which seemed a natural fit: a little song. And as a delightful affirmation to my contention that finding your place of language will open doors of the world to new possibility - a composer friend has set one of my Christmas poems, "Forever", into a lush musical home, which is included in my book, Christmas in Bethlehem.
