Teen Steals Police Car and Shipping Container Restaurant Coming to Atlanta

Police activity in and around the neighborhoods of Mozley Park Friday morning was due to a manhunt for a teen suspected of stealing an East Point police cruiser and crashing it near Mosley Place and Chicamauga Avenue.

The teen was taken into custody after police used tear gas to coax him out of his home.

11-Year-Old Wins Pokémon State Championship - Douglasville Patch

After a full day of head-to-head Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) battles, Keegan Abley earned the coveted title of Pokémon State Champion while competing at the 2013 Pokémon TCG State Championships held in Duluth on March 9.

Keegan prevailed in the event which brought together hundreds of competitors and triumphed as the only Junior player from Georgia to hold the title.

High School Student Accused of Having Alcohol on Campus - Oconee Patch

An 18-year-old Oconee County High School student was arrested on campus Thursday morning after the assistant principal told Sheriff's deputies that alcohol had been found in his possession.

According to an incident report, school officials said they had reason to suspect the student had the alcohol and when they checked, he had a 750 ml bottle of Seagram's Gin.

Occupy Our Homes Group Protests Fannie Mae in Attempt to Save Desert Storm Vet's Home - Buckhead Patch

Supporters of Occupy Our Homes Atlanta, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and other allies protested at Fannie Mae in Buckhead on Wednesday afternoon in an effort to stop the eviction of Desert Storm veteran Mark Harris.

The group of about 50 protestors set up a makeshift mock house as part of the demonstration, while holding up signs on the sidewalk in front of Buckhead's Atlanta Plaza, home of Fannie Mae's regional headquarters.

Restaurant to Launch out of Shipping Container - Midtown Patch

Yumbii, which sparked metro Atlanta's food truck craze, is going green with its latest concept: recycled shipping container restaurants.

The company plans to open its first such eatery at 10th and Peachtree streets.

And what he calls fact is seriously distorted information. Good leaders don't run and hide from an issue and then blame others for their shortcomings... I realize good leaders are hard to find.... but, why do we continue to tolerate mediocrity? A vacant seat would be just as effective as this congressman... actually, as I think about it, probably more effective.
