 Man Vows to Send Handwritten Letter to Anyone Who Asks - East Atlanta Patch

A Metro Atlanta man concerned about the disappearance of handwritten correspondence has vowed to send a handwritten letter to anyone who asks.

Every day of 2013, he has promised to send a handwritten letter, free, to anyone who asks. “You will receive an original, somewhat newsy, most likely meandering but sincere letter, such as you might once upon a time have gotten from a person who was not a stranger to you,” his Facebook page states.

Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault - Canton-Sixes Patch 

A Creekview High School drama and English teacher has been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault following allegations that he conducted a sexual relationship with a student.

Matthew Tamanini, 31, of Canton, allegedly had the affair with the 16-year-old student over a four month period, according to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office. 

This is the second such incident involving a Creekview High School teacher in the past two months.

Local Company's Commercial Battles for Super Bowl Spot - Decatur Patch

A director with a Decatur-based production company is battling for a spot in the Super Bowl.

Ben Callner of PoGo Pictures directed  “Goat 4 Sale,” one of five video ads entered in the Doritos Super Bowl Commercial Contest.

To win, he needs help from the home folks. The top two commercials will run during the Super Bowl, with the winners selected by visitors to the Doritos Crash the Super Bowl Facebook page.
