A stepfather of a teenage murder victim caused a disturbance at a hearing Wednesday when he rushed at Fort Stewart soldiers accused of the crime, according to a Daily Beast report.

Wesley Thomas was the stepfather of 17-year-old , who was murdered in December. At least four deputies wrestled Thomas to the ground and handcuffed him. The Daily Beast reported that he lunged at Sgt. Anthony Peden, who prosecutors say shot York in the head.

Mary Cantrell, the 69-year-old woman who was flown to Grady Hospital in Atlanta after she was struck by her own vehicle on Wednesday, has died.

"The victim was taken off life support and was pronounced as dead at 3 p.m.," Det. Candy Worthy of the  wrote in an email this afternoon. "Her injuries were consistent with generalized massive trauma to the head and body. Our prayers are with her family."

At about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, Cantrell's Jeep Liberty "had some issue with the emergency brake," Worthy explained in an earlier email to Canton-Sixes Patch.

Her simple but striking black and white murals can be seen on streetscapes in Italy, Poland, Spain, Mexico, Norway, Germany and her home country of Argentina.

But in Atlanta, Hyuro has received a different reception from a few vocal opponents in Chosewood Park after the unveiling of her nude mural last week for the non-profit Living Walls project.

So Hyuro's work will be painted over, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The mural, located on the eastern wall of the former General Motors Lakewood Plant at the corner of Sawtell Avenue and McDonough Boulevard, depicts a nude woman in a series of stances in which she disrobes herself of a black outfit.
