Super Tuesday has arrived. Voting takes place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Weather: Sunshine is in the forecast with a high temperature of 61 degrees expected.  The Weather Channel calls for overnight lows in the low to mid 40s.

Top things to know:

  • It's , and Georgia is one of 10 states holding primaries or caucuses today.  You may have heard that Georgia is not a winner take all state.  So, how will the state's Presidential delegation be divided?   • Polls in Oconee County are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and registered voters should head to their assigned precincts to cast ballots.  No voting happens in the Elections Office today.  throughout the day for coverage of the primary and stop by for our liveblog as results roll in this evening.  Share your GOP Primary predictions in the comments below.
  • UGA Soccer Team and Coaches are holding a free Soccer Clinic at 6 p.m. at Oconee Veterans Park, according to the Oconee County Parks and Recreation Department. Call 706-769-3965 for more information.
