Oconee Today -- July 6

There's a chance for early morning and late afternoon showers.

1. There's a 40 percent chance of morning and afternoon showers today with a high temperature of 91 degrees, the Weather Channel predicts. Scattered thunderstorms are possible overnight with lows near 70 degrees.

2. On the first Wednesday of each month, the hosts an AM Exchange from 7:45 a.m. to 9 a.m. A light breakfast is provided at the networking event.

3. A Storytelling Concert, led by Kim James of the Athens-Clarke County Library, takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the Oconee County Library.  Children of all ages are welcome to attend.

4. The Tour at Two will feature Decorative Arts from the Permanent Collection.  The tour, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., is free but a donation is suggested.
