Oconee Today -- July 13

1. Another scorching day is in the forecast as highs are expected to climb into the upper 90s.  The area will again be under a starting at 11 a.m. Watch out for a 30 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly after 6 p.m.

2. on Epps Bridge Parkway is hosting a networking breakfast for CauseSavers.com from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event is free but guests are encouraged to RSVP.

3. Kids of all ages are invited to a at the Oconee County Library featuring magician and ventriloquist Keith Karnok. It begins at 10:30 a.m.

4. are being collected for the 6th annual Regional Teacher Reuse Store which will take place on Aug. 13 at the Athens-Clarke County Solid Waste facility.  Teachers from Oconee, Clarke, Madison, and Oglethorpe Counties will benefit from free, reused supplies such as binders and paper or folders.
