Oconee Today -- Dec. 12

An informative meeting about upcoming legislative issues, a school board meeting, and a public meeting about the potential water and sewer shutoff to a mobile home park are important things to know about today.

Weather: Rain is possible, mainly before 1 p.m, according to the National Weather Service. Plan on cloudy skies and highs in the upper 40s.  Low temperatures overnight will be in the upper 30s.

Top things to know:

  • Sen. Bill Cowsert and Rep. Chuck Williams will discuss upcoming legislative issues at a meeting sponsored by the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce.  It takes place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at in the Community Center Building.
