Road work and a UGA student employment fair are a few of the things to know about in and around Oconee today.

Top Things to Know About:

  • An Oconee County Road Department crew will continue repairs to the road base next to the bridge on Malcom Bridge Road today.  Traffic may be delayed in the area.  .
  • If you are a UGA student looking for work, head over to the 5th floor of the Tate Student Center from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for a Student Employment Fair. According to the UGA Career Center, businesses both on and off campus will be represented.
  • A pair of fun, educational activities is sheduled at the local libraries. From 3:30-4:30 p.m. at Bogart Library, kids in grades 1-5 are invited to participate in the program.  It helps foster a love of reading by giving children an opportunity to read aloud to .  , an event for teens, takes place at the Oconee County Library from 6-8 p.m. Both are free.
