A road rage incident involving an off duty police officer that started in Johns Creek ended with two arrests in Alpharetta.

The off-duty officer called Johns Creek police shortly before 8 a.m. on May 29 to report that a black Nissan with no rear bumper cover attempted to ram his vehicle while at a BP gas station in Johns Creek. The officer avoided a confrontation, and followed the vehicle, which had two men inside, into Alpharetta when they left the gas station.

Alpharetta police stopped the suspects and arrested the driver for DUI. The passenger fled, but was apprehended.

 

– Holly Springs-Hickory Flat Patch

A horse died after being rescued from a hole Monday evening.

A woman was riding the horse near Curtis Road in Hickory Flat when the ground gave way and the horse began to sink. The horse began thrashing and got stuck even deeper.

The large animal rescue team from Milton constructed an A-Frame to pull the animal out, but the horse died en route for treatment.
