If you write a letter to God, where would you mail it? My mother hid them in her bible. After she passed I inherited her bible and discovered them.
Mother had a very personal relationship with God, and didn't hesitate to write to him when she needed help, or to thank Him for the way things turned out for her. Like many people of her generation she wrote marginalia in her bible. Sometimes just the day she read a particular verse, or to offer a commentary on one.
