Watkinsville's ServiceMaster Complete Helps Victims of Hurricane Sandy Get Back on Their Feet

The restoration business has spent the last month clearing debris and repairing devastated homes along the East coast, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.

Luke Smith and his crew from the Watkinsville franchise of ServiceMaster Complete have joined forces with workers from Conyers and Sandy Springs to help residents of Hurricane Sandy's hard-hit areas piece their lives back together.

According to an article in the Athens Banner-Herald, the crew has spent the past month working 16-hour days clearing water, removing debris and repairing damaged homes for clients despite facing obstacles like snow.

Between clients, the crew provided service free of charge to a volunteer firefighter and different forms of charity to others, Smith told the newspaper. Team members have only recently begun rotating back to Georgia, according to the article.
