The weather Friday afternoon was perfect for a picnic, and that's how Oconee State Bank celebrated its annual customer appreciation day.
On the lawn on the corner of Main Street and Experiment Station Road, Bank President and CEO Amrey Harden was among employees grilling hotdogs. Customers enjoyed lunch under the shade of tents while children jumped in a bouncy house.
A similar event was taking place simultaneously at the Bogart location.
"This is our time just to tell our customers thank you for allowing us to serve them," said Marketing Officer Deesha Hagwood.
Harden recently celebrated his 40th anniversary with the bank.
