Cook Out Brings Its 40 Flavors Of Milkshakes To Oconee County

The restaurant opened on Sept. 25.

The restaurant has only been open for a week, but Cook Out Fresh Hamburgers already appears to be popular with local residents.

On Wednesday evening, the parking lot was packed and a steady stream of customers made their way through the double drive-thru at the restaurant on the corner of Epps Bridge Parkway and Jordan Drive.

The Oconee County location is one of three new Cook Outs in Georgia, but it may not be long before the chain opens another eatery in the area. Athens Patch reported last week that the Athens-Clarke County Planning Department is reviewing an application for a permit for the construction of a Cook Out on the east side.
