$1 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Oconee County

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education.

The Georgia Lottery Corporation has announced that a winning Powerball ticket worth $1 million has been sold at Golden Pantry #0004, at 31 Greensboro Highway in Watkinsville.

The ticket was part of Wednesday's $399 million Powerball drawing.

Another $1 million ticket was sold at Georgia Lottery’s Airport North kiosk, at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

In August, another winning lottery ticket was sold in Oconee County, at the Epps Bridge Parkway Kroger. One of three jackpot winning Fantasy 5 tickets worth $250,629 was sold to James Moore of Bogart.
