Rescue Me! Dog Meet and Greet
Head out to Flickr on Wednesday, May 1 from 6pm to 8pm to hang out with some adoptable dogs, and mark your calendars because we plan to make this a monthly outing on the first Wednesday of each month!
The weather is warming up and it’s time to get out with your dogs to enjoy the spring! The Athens Area Humane Society and Flickr Theatre and Bar (263 W Washington St., Athens, GA 30601) have partnered to host Rescue Me!, a dog meet and greet time for people who want to hang out with dogs…
Whether you’re looking to adopt a dog or just want to spend some quality time with a fur friend to get away from the stress of the day, this is the place for you to be! And you’ll get to hang out with other dog-loving people to make some human friends, too.
Head out to Flickr on Wednesday, May 1 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm to hang out with some adoptable dogs, and mark your calendars because we plan to make this a monthly outing on the first Wednesday of each month! Feel free to bring your dog with you as well—we just ask that they be well-socialized, non-aggressive dogs that are up-to-date on their vaccines.

A portion of the proceeds collected at Rescue Me! will be donated to the Athens Area Humane Society to help the adoptable animals waiting for new homes to have a new lease on life.
