Recycle for Earth Day to Helps the Animals!

Save your recyclable electronics, ink cartridges and aluminum cans to donate to AAHS for Earth Day this year!

Are you one of those people who never knows quite how to help on Earth Day? Well, the Athens Area Humane Society has a perfect solution for you to help the earth and the animals this year! And it’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Donate your used recyclable items to AAHS, and we can recycle them and receive funding which will help our animals and our environment!

How to Host a  Recycle Drive

All you have to do is find a box or plastic bin, post one of our recycle flyers on it, and let people know you’re hosting an AAHS Save the Earth, Save a Pet recycle drive by handing out or posting additional flyers! You can do this at your workplace, school or within an organization during the dates you choose to host your drive—we just ask that you drop off your donations at one of our locations by Earth Day, which is Monday, April 22, 2013.

We will ship all of the donated recyclable items, and in return, AAHS receives funding for them that will go to help our animals! What any easy way to help this Earth Day! Email Amanda to receive your printable flyers—please include your name, your group/business/organization name (if applicable), the donation location and the dates of your drive in the email.
