Bravo! Festival Latino at Ashford Manor

Bravo! Festival Latino 2012 to bring Latin culture and family fun to Watkinsville

For the first year of many to come Bravo! Festival Latino 2012 is presented by the Athens Latino Center for Education and Services (ALCES) in conjunction with Ashford Manor Bed and Breakfast. This event will be held on October 28th, from 2pm to 5pm, in celebration of Hispanic heritage month. Fun for the whole family, the Festival caters to not only the Hispanic/Latin community but welcomes the entire Athens, Watkinsville, and surrounding communities in general.

This is the first time that an event like this will take place in Watkinsville and the expectation is that 500
people will attend the opening of the Festival.  The event includes music and dance presentations, a DJ playing Latin music, traditional Latin food, and a special area for children with various attractions and games.
ALCES is looking to celebrate the history and heritage of the people whom it serves.
