1. FORT YARGO COLONIAL MARKET FAIRE

Where/When: Fort Yargo State Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday

Why Go: To experience an eighteenth century living history event with the entire family.

2. “AUNT DAN AND LEMON”

Where/When: The Cellar Theatre at the UGA Fine Arts Building on Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Why Go: To see a play by Wallace Shawn that is provocative, philosophical, odd, eloquent and gripping. 

Pricing: $10 for general admission; $7 for UGA students 

3. FESTIFOOL

Where/When: The Farmington Depot Gallery from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday 

Why Go: To usher in the month of April and experience food, fun and art for all to enjoy.

Pricing: Free

4. UGA JAZZ BAND

Where/When: Ramsey Concert Hall at the UGA Performing Arts Center at 8 a.m. on Thursday

Why Go: To see Steve Dancz conduct the acclaimed UGA Jazz Band and hear some favorite songs.

Pricing: Free

5. 3RD ANNUAL DOWNTOWN DISCIPLES DASH 5K

Where/When: Watkinsville First Christian Church at 7 p.m. on Friday

Why Go: To run/walk to benefit the American Cancer Society's ongoing efforts to combat cancer.

Pricing: $20
