Weekend in Oconee

It's a GREAT Spring weekend in Oconee

WEATHER: Overnight thunderstorms have left a chance for the same throughout the morning, turning to partly cloudy and a high of 82. Overall tree and grass pollens will still be in the “high” range but the weed contribution should be significantly less.

  • Today is National Clam on the Half Shell Day! Celebrate big … maybe with one of the clam dishes at Piccolos
  • You can see Snoopy at the Oconee Civic Center throughout the weekend as the Oconee Youth Playhouse brings our favorite beagle to life and check out the pet adoption opportunities at the Royal Pet Fair on Sunday along with the family fun activities planned throughout the day.
  • There’s a Helicopter Egg Drop at Hebron Christian Church at 2:00 on Sunday, and an Egg Hunt and Cookout at Watkinsville First Christian starting at 4:00. Don’t get discouraged if you miss them … there will be several more throughout the week and next weekend!

Have a GREAT weekend here in Oconee County!
