Top things to know:

  • Steak 'n Shake on West Broad Street in Athens opens today. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 10 a.m.
  • The Oconee County Library invites children ages 1-3 years and their caregivers get to play musical instruments, sing and dance together during Baby Music Jam. The free event starts at 10:30 a.m.
  • Sketch away at the Georgia Museum's Drawing in the Galleries. From 5 p.m. until 8 p.m visitors are invited to sketch on their own with pencils or colored pencils.
  • UGA's jazz ensemble performs at the Ramsey Concert Hall at 6 p.m.
  • The I Still Have a Dream Foundation, an organization that provides support the transportation and supply needs of those facing the challenges of brain and spinal cord injuries, holds a kick-off fundraiser.Β  Come to Hendershot's Coffee Bar from 6:30-8:30 p.m. to learn how you can help.
