There are a lot of events going on in and around Oconee County today, including a 5K to raise money for the American Cancer Society and another fundraiser for families of fallen officers.
1. Much warmer temperatures and sunny skies are in today's forecast. High temperatures will be in the low 70s.
2. The at Oconee County Veterans Park today will raise money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life. It starts at 8 a.m. Go cheer on the runners!
3. Fans of table tennis might enjoy watching a at gym beginning at 2 p.m.

4. The University of Georgia Gym Dogs will end their regular season this afternoon vs Michigan at Stegeman Coliseum at 4 p.m.. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for youth, and $2 for UGA students.
5. The 1st Annual fundraiser gets underway at 4 p.m. at the . Come out to see patrol cars from nearly 15 law enforcement agencies and K9 unit demonstrations. Admission is free, but donations are suggested. All proceeds will benefit Concerns of Police Survivors.
