  • Every Tuesday the of Oconee County meets at 7 a.m. in the Watkinsville Community Center for a continental breakfast and presentation. Today's guest speaker is Cindy Hadden who will be giving a website tutorial.  Guests are welcome to attend at a cost of $5 per person.
  • Athens construction advisory from UGA's master calendar: Constuction begins today at the vacated Chi Phi fraternity house at 290 South Lumpkin Street. It is being demolished and the site prepared as a parking lot.
  • The Oconee County Chamber of Commerce hosts a networking lunch at from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a fee of $15 cash or check at the door.
  • The State Botanical Garden will host one of three free "Gardening at Night" programs tonight at 6 p.m. .
