Our daily roundup of happenings in and around Oconee.

1.Even warmer temperatures than yesterday's are in the forecast for today. The weather channel predicts a high of 75 degrees and mainly sunny skies for your Friday.

2. At this morning, there will be a game of White Elephant Bingo at 10:30 a.m.  Participants are asked to bring two "prizes."  Plan to stick around for a computer class at 12:30 a.m.  

3. A 4-week pastel painting class begins this morning at .  Novice to advanced artists are welcome from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $125 for OCAF members and $135 for non-members. Read more about OCAF in  .

4. varsity girls' and boys' soccer teams are in action today as they play host to Providence.  The girls' game begins at 5 p.m. and the boys' game will follow at 7 p.m.
