New Movie Theater Offering 'Sneak Peek' Special to Benefit Charities

University 16 Cinemas at Epps Bridge Centre in Oconee County will donate proceeds from June 13 to the Variety Club of Georgia and Oconee Food for Kids program.

The official grand opening of the new movie theater at Epps Bridge Centre in Oconee County is Friday, June 14, but moviegoers can get a sneak peek at University 16 Cinemas todaywhile helping two charity groups at the same time.

According to the theater's Facebook page, tickets cost $2.50 for all seats for the following shows on Thursday, June 13. Tickets go on sale at 3:30 p.m.

  • GTX BLACK-Oblivion (PG13) 4:00 7:00 10:00
  • Olympus Has Fallen (R) 4:00 6:45 9:30
  • Silver Linings Playbook (R) 4:15 7:00 9:45
  • 3D-Oz the Great & Powerful (PG) 8:00
  • 2D-Oz the Great & Powerful (PG) 5:00
  • Scary Movie 5 (PG13) 5:00 7:15 9:30
  • 3D-GI Joe Retaliation (PG13) 4:45 9:45
  • 2D-GI Joe Retaliation (PG13) 7:15
  • The Croods (PG) 4:30 6:45 9:00

Proceeds from the today and yesterday will be donated to Oconee Food for Kids and the Variety Club of Georgia, the post states.

The theater plans to announce the weekend movie lineup and its pricing list Thursday via Facebook.
