An observance of the National Day of Prayer will be held at St. Philothea Greek Orthodox Church beginning at 6:15 a.m. with breakfast. The hour-long ceremony will begin at 6:45 a.m. and will serve as the keynote speaker.
According to an article in the Athens Banner-Herald, attendees are asked to bring donations for the Area Churches Together Serving food bank.
