TALES OF THE UNEXPECTED AT SCULL SHOALS

The Friends of Scull Shoals present
An Evening at Historic Scull Shoals:  Tales of the Unexpected! Saturday, October 5th 6-10pm Local storytelling, Ghost Stories, smores
Plans are being made for a fun evening.  Mary Ruth Moore will be back with more stories about the Durham family that has connections to Scull Shoals.  Melissa Piche, storyteller and Ghost Tours of Watkinsville guide will also be one of the presenters.  Someone from the Georgia Paranormal Investigators will also participate.  Recent e-mails among the planners have mentioned the presence of possible ghostly visitors to the area so who knows what possible surprised might occur.
Scull Shoals is located in the Oconee National Forest.  To reach the site from Watkinsville drive south on Hwy 15, cross the Oconee River and turn left onto Macedonia Road.  There is a sign for the historic site on that corner.  Drive 2 miles to Forest Road 1234 and turn left.  go 3 miles to the Scull shoals village site.
