DEMOREST, GA (08/05/2013)(readMedia)-- At its recent summer commencement ceremony, Piedmont College in Demorest, Ga., awarded degrees to 216 students. Among the graduates were the following area residents:
Amy Lynch Bishop of Bogart earned an Education Specialst (EDS) degree .
Ryan William Jones of Bogart earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in middle grades education .

Piedmont College is an independent liberal arts college of about 2,600 students with campuses located in Demorest and Athens, Ga. Founded in 1897, the college offers undergraduate degrees in 50 major areas and graduate degrees in education and business, including doctoral degrees in education.
