Come and Help Clean McNutt Creek on Saturday

Don't waste Oconee! Come and clean!

On Saturday, November 16th, volunteers will gather near McNutt Creek, on Macon Highway. Registration is 9am, and cleanup starts at 10am. Michael Wolfe, of the North American Native Fishes Association, will talk about the fish in McNutt Creek.

Lunch will be provided for volunteers.

Keep Oconee County Beautiful is sponsoring the cleanup. It's  part of the continuing statewide Rivers Alive! campaign to clean and preserve more than 70,000 miles of Georgia’s rivers and streams. Rivers Alive! is a joint program of the Environmental Protection Division Outreach Programs and the Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation.
