Watkinsville Police Make Two DUI Arrests on Colham Ferry Road

The following information comes from the Watkinsville Police Department. An arrest isn't a conviction.

Watkinsville Police last week charged two people with DUI, according to Chief Lee O'Dillon.

On Sunday, June 16 at 3:54 a.m., police stopped a 2005 Toyota Camry along Colham Ferry Road after watching the car cross over the center line into the oncoming lane.  Donna J. Wallace, 40, of Astondale Road, was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane.  She was booked and later released after posting bond.

Police stopped a 2003 Ford F-350 on Thursday, June 13 after observing the truck unable to stay in its lane along Colham Ferry Road.  Lawrence M. Scotland, 68, of Saxon Road, failed sobriety tests and was charged with DUI and failure to maintain lane. Scotland was booked and later released after posting bond.

O'Dillon also noted following incidents in the news release:
