UPDATE: Missing Oconee County Teen Found Safe

Jasmin Esquivas is not believed to be in danger and is believed to hiding with friends after having a disagreement with her parents, according to the Oconee County Sheriff's Office.

UPDATE: At 2:15 p.m., the Oconee County Sheriff's Office said the teen has been located and is safe.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office sent out the following notice about a missing teen at 9 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013:

"Anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Jasmin Esquivas (15), 5'4" tall weighing 230 pounds, is encouraged to contact the Oconee County Sheriff's Office at 706-769-5665 or Sgt. Nolley at knolley@oconeesheriff.org. 

"Esquivas is not believed to be in danger and is believed to hiding with friends after having a disagreement with her parents."
