Dear Community Stakeholders,

Each month in Oconee County over 400 children ages birth to five years old are receiving FREE books! Oconee Wee Read, along with Dolly Parton's Imagaination Library help provide these books and promote the importance of early literacy in our community. Although we are still in the beginning stages of this program, we need to rally together to increase awareness of the program, provide books for those children that are not currently being served and to raise the money to support and maintain this wonderful program.

Please join us at 3:00, May 9th at the United Way office as we gather together to form our "Champions" for Oconee Wee Read. Oconee Wee Read is underwritten by the local United Way. You will learn more about the program, what a difference it makes for the children in our community and importantly, what YOU can do to help make the difference!
