North Oconee High Girls Topple Lady Wolverines
The Lady Titans win big Wednesday over Prince Avenue Christian in the Walnut Grove Christmas Basketball Classic.
The North Oconee High School girls' basketball team toppled the Lady Wolverines of Prince Avenue Christian, 45-29, in Wednesday's semifinals of the Walnut Grove Christmas Classic. The win puts the Lady Titans into the championship game of the tournament against the host school Walnut Grove Thursday at 4:30 p.m. North Oconee sophomore guard Brooke Hubbard hit at least three shots from beyond the arc to lead the Lady Titans to the 16-point win. The victory moves North Oconee to 9-2 overall and 1-1 in 8B-AA Region play.
